Sign-stealing 'communists'

Reporter Emily Fleischaker did a good job in her Sunday article about the Bush sign stealing. But how could anyone know that those who stole the signs were communists? Because people's actions prove what they are. Stealing campaign signs indicates a disrespect for private property and free speech rights, traits shared by communists. A sad result of communist ideas exists among scofflaws and vandals in East Durham, where a good kid has a hard time owning a bicycle and keeping it from being stolen. The ones who steal bikes think they know better (as do communist governments) as to who should have and not have. Winking at stealing on any level is a slippery slope for civilization.
